Ruth has been approved as a Doula for Aboriginal Families Grant program.
For over 20 years Ruth has served families in a number of BC communities as their doula. Helping them navigate their way. Supporting them during labour and birth either at home or in hospital settings. Assisting them to recover and settle successfully into parenting responsibilities. Her passion is encouraging people to learn more about their health/health system, and to help them find the words to speak to get the respectful services they are entitled to.
